Appearance
Armadillos are new in appearance unlike others these have its own look and a shell like an tortoise, still has a color of its own :

How to Get Armadillo Scutes in Minecraft?
There are two main ways to collect Armadillo Scutes:
Using a Brush
You can use a brush to get it without harming any mob and is a clean & fast way. This makes the brush method ideal for players who want to farm scutes sustainably. Items needed – boat, lead, brush (made with 1 Feather, 1 Stick, 1 Copper Ingot), compass and a lodestone – now the way :
- Place the lodestone in your base where you live.
- Find an Armadillo in savannas or badlands.
- Slowly, go with crouch and place your boat near it.
- Try to make it sit in boat.
- Once done, brush it one time – and you will get and Armadillo Scute.
- Place lead on Armadillo – do this 2 times as you need 2 armadillos
- Compass will show the direction with its arrow where you put the lodestone.
- Go in that direction.
- As you reach your base, make a big plain base with any block and place 2 doors between.
- Go with the Armadillos and leave them there.
- Till you reach base it will up to 5 minutes – now you can brush again.
- Brush.
- Then wait 5 minutes , and brush again.
- Now you have the 6 armadillo scute – and you can finally make a wolf armour.
Killing The Armadillo
Compared to brush, killing and Armadillo sounds very fast. Okay, let say you found its biome, killed one, and got one . Now you know what will happen, it will be less chance to get it by brushing and it is very rare so i think it is a hard method.
Now lets make a Wolf Armour
Now you have collected the Armadillo scutes – Time to make a Wolf Armour :
- Place a crafting table.
- You want 3 scutes
- Now make a h with scutes – 1 on first layer – 3 on second layer – 2 on third layer with a gap in between.
- Finally, you get a Wolf Armour and you can suit it on the tamed wolf, with just a right click.
Want to remove Wolf Armour
If you want to remove the wolf armour from your wolf, you just have to right click on it while crouched and holding the shift. This makes it easy for every player to remove the wolf armour without loosing it.
Advantages of it
Wolf armour increases your wolfs health (hp) and helps it to survive longer against all mobs and very useful in all times for example if your wolf gets drop from a long height.
Main Tip
- Armadillos get frightened if any player moves to it too quickly or if a mob is close.
- If they are frightened you cannot not breed or eat any spider eyes, and currently cannot be tamed.
