Minecraft Movie Addon Features
This new Movie MOD made by Spark Universe for Minecraft PE introduces many gameplay changes, including new items, new mobs, and Mob Bosses. This mod is easily downloadable from the Minecraft Marketplace, and you can scroll down to the “how to download” section from here!
As you start the game, a guidebook is available that lists everything added to this MOD, including weapons and mobs.
Weapons
Staff of Dominance
First of all, it has added some new weapons, such as the Staff of Dominance. It is quite a powerful weapon that works similarly to that of a Ghast’s attack. You can aim it anywhere and just attack. It will blast the target area, and the fire will spread around it.
How to craft it? Well, you will need two main ingredients: the Orb of Dominance and Malgosha’s Staff. Malgosha’s staff is somewhat easy to craft and is also sometimes available for trade from the new Movie MOD Addon Villager (only trades new modded items). It only requires three netheite ingots.
However, the Orb of Dominance is a hard nut to crack; it is very rare to find and craft, too. You will need a blaze rod, totem of undying, heart of the sea, quartz, ender pearl, ghast tear, end rod, Nether star, and redstone.
Buck Chuckets
This is also a new type of weapon added in the Addon, which works as a nonchaku; it keeps revolving constantly and sweeps the enemy away when hit, to quite a distance. It is multifunctional and can also be used to carry items, such as a bucket.
To craft this, you only need 5 Iron Ingots and 3 Semelted Iron Pieces. You can check the ingredient arrangement for the crafting table in the image below.
Battle Axe
Another weapon added to this MOD is the Battle Axe, which is pretty powerful and deals five base damage that increases to 10 in the netherite version. Along with other enchantments, it can be an overkill weapon. It also has a special power to fling the mobs in the air when activated.
However, it is not very durable and can break very quickly, so to make it durable, you might need some good enchantments!
Spear
Also, in the new MOD, it is too powerful and deals almost 3.5 hearts of damage to Minecraft Steve without any armour. It can also be thrown at enemies like a ranged weapon and is also used to intimidate ghasts to shoot fireballs. It can be made of different materials.
To craft it, you simply need two sticks and the material you want it to be made of, such as diamond or netherite, in a diagonal way, ascending from left to right, respectively.
Potato Launcher
Just a fun item added as a weapon to play with your friends; however, it is capable of firing tater tots as well as ender pearls. To craft this, you need three smelted pieces, two sticks, and a potato.
However, the arrangement of these materials on the crafting table is such that the first row, from left to right, has all the iron pieces vertically, then a potato in the centre, and in the 3rd row, two sticks, leaving the first box empty.
Mobs
Now, moving to the mobs, an alot of new mobs have been introduced, including two mob bosses: the malgosha and the great hog. Most of the new mobs introduced are all variations of piglins (an old mob of Minecraft Nether World).
Malgosha
It is a new boss introduced, which is very dangerous and can deal up to 5 hearts of damage on a single hit without armour. It can attack with explosive fireballs and can also summon other mobs for support. Moreover, while attacking, it sweeps enemies away like a battle axe.
Great Hog
It is another mob boss introduced in this addon, and it is pretty dangerous. It can fire fireballs from its arm cannon continuously and usually punches the nearby enemies. It drops netherite ingots when killed.
Minecraft Movie Addon Trader
Such a long name? Yeah, it is. This is a type of wandering trader that trades in new items introduced in the addon. It takes emeralds like other regular traders.
In my personal experience, this is my favorite because the last time I was playing, I got an offer from that trader to get Malgosha’s staff for just five emeralds, which is just wild, since it needs three netherite ingots to craft one. If you want to read more about it, click here.
Items
Mushroom Hat
This fun item is also added; it has no purpose or benefits to wear. However, to craft it, you only need three mushroom blocks. Rather than having any benefit, it is only inspired by form Minecraft movie.
